STAFF REPORT LHR: Wateen, Pakistan’s leading converged communications provider, has announced that it has achieved TelePresence Video Express Authorized Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco.

This designation ranks Wateen as having fulfilled the training requirements and programme prerequisites to sell, deploy and support Cisco TelePresence Video products and solutions at the Express level.

The ATP programme is an exclusive “invitation only” programme from Cisco and Wateen had to meet a number of requirements and criteria among them the rigorous Cisco certified personnel levels required to qualify and earn the Cisco Telepresence Video Express ATP status.

“Wateen is committed to revolutionize technology solutions being used by the Enterprise market in Pakistan. Extending our portfolio to Tele-presence from traditional Video Conferencing portfolio is another step forward in realizing our dream of “Digitized Pakistan”, said Wateen CEO Naeem Zamindar on the occasion.

Similarly, Richard McLeod, senior director of collaboration for worldwide channels at Cisco said that the Cisco TelePresence Video Express ATP Programme is designed to enable partners to take advantage of the tremendous market opportunities ahead-not only in the TelePresence space.

Achieving this important designation from Cisco continues to demonstrate Wateen’s commitment to deliver unique services and expertise based on best practices for successful video deployment.
