STAFF REPORT LHR: Wateen Telecom, Pakistans leading converged communications provider, participated in the prestigious Forbes Global CEO conference recently held in Dubai.

The Forbes Global CEO Summit takes place annually and aims at creating an opportunity for global leaders to meet, engage in business and discuss visions for a sustainable future. As many as 400 global CEOs, tycoons, entrepreneurs, up-and-comers and capitalists participated in the event and discussed the latest trends and innovations that would drive the global economy in 2013 and beyond.

On the occasion, Wateens CEO Naeem Zamindar was one of the selected panelists. He participated in one of the events main plenary sessions, as well as one of the boardroom dialogue sessions.

Under the theme of ‘The Race Ahead’, the conference examined how policy and business leaders are facing critical challenges in the global competition for prosperity. Panels analysed the state of the world economy and focus on the best strategies for success in global business.

Later, commenting on the Forbes Global CEO conference, Zamindar said, “It was a great honour for me to represent Wateen – and Pakistan – at this incredible event. It offered me a chance to interact with global leaders and demonstrate Pakistans crucial role in the global technology and telecommunications stage.”
