STAFF REPORT KHI: The easypaisa, for the first time in Pakistan, is set to launch a free life insurance plan to its subscribers. This innovative service will be launched in collaboration with Adamjee Life Insurance Co Ltd., which is considered one of the most prompt and efficient settlers of claims, with state-of-the-art policy issuance and claim settlement systems, says a press release.
According to it, a contract signing ceremony has recently been held at a local hotel in order to formalise the partnership. The ceremony was attended by senior officials of Tameer Bank and Adamjee Life Assurance.
“Research has shown that if people are able to save or hold an insurance then they are better equipped to handle certain events in their lives which require immediate funds,” Roar Bjaerum, VP Financial Services Telenor Pakistan, said in a message on the occasion.
He said that our insurance product is one way of achieving easypaisas vision of financial inclusion for everyone. The insurance cover will help provide some financial security to the family of the insured in case of any unforeseen event, thus reducing the risk of them falling on hard times, he maintained.
