Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) has been onboarded by 1LINK (Pvt.) Ltd as a Biller. Mr. Najeeb Agrawalla, CEO 1LINK commented, ‘’We welcome DUHS on the digital rails of 1BILL. This is another step towards facilitating customers in shifting to digital payment channels.”

Speaking on the occasion Professor Dr. Muhammad Syed Quraishi – VC DUHS said, “Today we have signed an agreement with 1LINK which I think will go a long way in helping our students and in their financial transactions in the university, It will also help our finance directorate in resourcing the amount of money received by the university and transacted by DUHS to the vendors. I hope this will be a successful partnership and I am sure it will ease payment collection obstacles faced by the university.”

The Dow Medical College was established at Hyderabad in 1881. It was relocated to Karachi by Sir Hugh Dow, Governor of Sindh in 1945. Until 1947, it was an affiliate of the University of Bombay. After the independence of India, it was under the University of Sindh, and later, it was affiliated with Karachi University. It was in 2004 when the Dow University of Health Sciences was established as an independent institution, with Dow Medical College and many other colleges being put under its umbrella.
