The chiefs attended the seminar Vice Chancellor Prof.Dr.Tahir Irfan Khan said it is our national and moral duty to fully take part in the awareness activities to save the environment from pollution and it could be in our day to day life and in our industrial activities.
He gave a special lecture on environmental and air pollution. He clarified that because it is very harmful to the lives of humans as well as animals and birds.
“Solid, liquid and gaseous waste is a threat to our environment and we need to find a sustainable solution and put it into practice,” said the Vice Chancellor of Abbottabad University of Science and Technology.
Expressing his views on the topic and also thanked the guest speaker for such an informative and useful talk.
Dean Health and Biomedical Sciences Prof.Dr.Mujaddid-ur-Rehman also thanked the guest speaker for spending time for the national cause.
HOD Department of Earth Sciences Faisal Shah emphasized the importance of this talk and assured the guest speaker of research collaboration with other universities and government officials on environmental issues and proper use of waste.
The Small Industries Development Board Abbottabad is being approached and has also started a pilot project on sustainable use of waste materials coming from the university.
