Hubsan Launches 4K Zino Mini Drone With Flying Range Of 10Km

Hubsan Has Released The Zino Mini Drone, Third Zino Device Launched This Year. Hubsan Has Positioned It As A More Affordable Drone

Hubsan has released the Zino Mini drone, the third Zino device launched this year. While the Zino Mini is still expensive, Hubsan has positioned it as a more affordable drone, especially with the tagline “let more people fly”. The Zino Mini is light, weighing just 249 g (~8.8 oz). The drone has a 1/1.3-in CMOS sensor, plus it can film in 4K and 30 FPS, albeit only at 1080p when streaming to your smartphone. Also, the Zino Mini can fly for up to 40 minutes on its 3,000 mAh battery, or for 10 km (~6.2 miles).

The gadget also has an AI tracking mode to accurately locate moving people, vehicles or animals, and a nighttime mode that uses an algorithm to optimize recordings made in low light. You can buy the drone with either 64 GB or 128 GB of memory, which you can expand with a microSD card. A key difference between the Zino Mini and the Zino Mini Pro is the obstacle detection; the Pro has sensors on three sides, and the Zino Mini only has one downward-facing sensor. The Zino Mini SE is less expensive than the Zino Mini, at US$349 (~€300). However, it is missing some features, such as obstacle avoidance. The Zino Mini will be available for US$459 (~€395). It is not yet possible to buy the drone, but Hubsan has listed it on its website. Unfortunately, the company has not indicated when the Zino Mini will be ready to order.
