MG RX8 Launching in Pakistan, Javed Afridi Asks Price Suggestions

Javed Afridi has recently teased the launch of the MG RX8 SUV in Pakistan and asked the public for price suggestions for the vehicle. However, the public has been criticizing the entrepreneur as he has failed to meet his promises and claims made over his social media posts regarding introduction of new vehicles in the local market.

Taking to Twitter the Pakistani entrepreneur shared a video of the MG RX8 while hinting at a possible launch in Pakistan. “MG RX8 THE LEGEND WILL BE HERE IN YOUR TOWN SOON.” he captioned the post.

Furthermore, he went on to ask the public regarding their opinion on the price of MG RX8 in Pakistan. “Price Suggestions !?” he wrote in his tweet while hinting at a possible launch of the vehicle in Pakistan.

However, this isn’t the first time Javed Afridi has teased launch of new MG vehicles in Pakistan. The Pakistani entrepreneur has previously teased many cars, including the MG3, MG5 and MG6 Sedans but none of the vehicles have ever been confirmed by the company itself.

It is pertinent to mention that Javed Afridi has teased the MG RX8 launch in Pakistan last year in one of his tweets where he posted a picture of the SUV.

MG RX8 SUV looks similar to the Toyota Land Cruiser in terms of interior but in a completely different segment. The vehicle features a simple yet trendy interior with stitched fabric seats.

The vehicle is powered by a 2.0L turbo petrol engine capable of producing 224hp and 360Nm of torque while equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle comes in two variants, including a 4×2 rear wheel drive (RWD) and a 4×4 option.

However, it is still too early to tell when this vehicle will be hitting the roads of Pakistan as there has been no official announcement by the company yet.
