Amazfit is all set to launch the Amazfit Pop Pro in China on December 1. Huami has confirmed the launch of its smartwatch on Weibo. The Pop Pro is expected to be an improved version of the Pop that was released in China a month ago. Although there is no change in the way the Pop Pro looks, one can expect some upgrades on the inside

Announcing the launch of the smartwatch, Huami posted a teaser poster on Weibo. In the teaser poster shared by Huami, the Pop Pro can be seen flaunting a square-shaped dial.

The Amazfit Pop Pro will be extremely lightweight and the teaser reveals that it would only weigh 31 grams. The watch will feature a 1.43-inch color OLED display as compared to the Pop’s TFT display with 320 x 302-pixels resolution.

Just like the Amazfit Pop, Pro would also come with around 60 sports modes which could include stretching, roller skating, belly dance, sailing, table tennis, badminton, yoga, jumping rope, Martial arts, zumba, treadmill, among others. Amazfit Pop supports sleep quality monitoring, stress monitoring with breathing training, and blood oxygen tracking. The smartwatch could come with a menstrual health tracker and ovulation.

The Amazfit Pop on the other hand comes pre-loaded with 4 faces and offers way too many options others have to be downloaded from the Zepp app. For connectivity, the smartwatch has support for Bluetooth 5.0 which can be used for connecting to the Zepp app available on Android and iOS. The watch has a polycarbonate body with a silicon rubber strap and features a 2.5D glass display with an anti-fingerprint coating. The watch is also water-resistant up to 50 meters.

Amazfit Pop houses a 225mAh battery which lasts up to 9 days on a single charge, according to the company. It takes two hours to completely charge the watch. The watch comes with sensors including the BioTracker 2 PPG Biological optical sensor for 24-hour heart-rate monitoring, SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen level PAI Health Assessment System.

Huami is yet to reveal the complete specs and pricing of the smartwatch yet. However, it is being speculated that the watch will be priced slightly higher than the Amazfit Pop primarily because of its OLED display and some added features. The Amazfit Pop is being sold in China for CNY 349 (roughly Rs 3,900). In India, Amazfit is currently selling the Amazfit Bip U for Rs 3999, which has the same features as the Amazfit Pop.
