Dr. Hope’s Sick Notes YouTube channel analyzed all horrific injuries caused by Batman in the warehouse scene of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Dr. Ed Hope recently broke down all Batman-caused injuries within the iconic warehouse scene in Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and the verdict is in — Batman is monstrous and potentially caused many slow and painful deaths.

The doctor found several of Batman’s attacks not only fatal but causing prolonged suffering, including cardiac tamponade, brain contusions, penetrating chest trauma and median nerve injuries. He shared his analysis on his YouTube channel, Dr. Hope’s Sick Notes.

Of the many injuries seen in the above video, a notable one to mention is Batman’s use of his grapnel gun — a gun which combines a grappling hook-like device into a handgun, and that debuted in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice — to string up an assailant by his femoral artery. The doctor interpreted this attack to cause the person to not only slowly bleed out by his femoral artery but to “openly break” his femur bone in the process as well.

Dr. Hope ends his “Rapid Fight Scene Trauma Diagnosis” video with his expert opinion of what Batman’s kill count likely is from Snyder’s warehouse scene.

“In summary, best guess would be two stable, four in serious condition, six in critical condition and four dead,” Hope said. Fans of this analysis can also watch the doctor’s RFSTD (as he nicknamed it) for Marvel Cinematic Universe films on his YouTube channel.

Directed by Zack Snyder and written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot.

Released on March 25, 2016, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice managed to rake in $873.6 million at the box office, though it was still deemed a failure due to not reaching an anticipated $1 billion total. Snyder later released his cut of the film entitled, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition. The film has a three-hour runtime and is currently available for streaming on HBO Max.

Batman’s next tale will star Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman. The film is written by both Reeves and Mattson Tomlin. The Batman also stars Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrel as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone and Peter Sarsgaard as District Attorney Gil Colson. The film arrives in theaters on March 4, 2022.
