Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has decided for donating in the Corona Fund as a sincere gesture towards a noble cause initiated by Prime minster.
Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force would donate one-month salary in the Corona Relief Fund.
Keeping the precarious situation of the country in view, it has been decided at the Air Staff level, that all rank and file of PAF would contribute in the Corona Fund.
Besides the Air Chief, officers of the rank of Air Commodore and above would give their three-day salary; whereas, the officers of Group Captain and below ranks would give two-day salary for the national cause. Moreover, airmen and civilians would also deposit their one day salary in the Corona Relief Fund.
The Prime Minister announced the establishment of the Corona Fund for receiving charitable donations so that the underprivileged can be looked after and to push the country out of the economic crisis during lock down due to Coronavirus outbreak in Pakistan.
Account in the State Bank of Pakistan opened for Corona Fund where donations are collected from national and international community. This fund will be an added source to help people buy essential items for their families during this critical time.
