A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Virtual University (VU) and University of Health Sciences Lahore (UHS) to collaborate in the field of research and academics.
MoU signing ceremony was held at UHS, Lahore. Rector Mr. Naeem Tariq represented from Virtual University (VU) and Vice Chancellor Dr. Javed Akram represented from University of Health Sciences Lahore (UHS) in ceremony. Higher management officials from both universities were also present at the signing ceremony.
The MoU envisages strengthening of bonds between the two institutions which may see the developments of links leading to the establishment of partnership agreements, academic cooperation and joint ventures.
Under the agreement both institutions will jointly cooperate in the field of e Learning, online examination, blended learning, collaboration in research projects and faculty development.
Rector, Naeem Tariq shared his views and said that this MoU will be a historical step which would go a long way in improving standard of education and research in the county.
