Virtual Uni with SMEDA conducted seminars in 7 different cities of Pakistan

Virtual University in association with Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) effectively conducted its first and second round of organizing entrepreneurial and innovation seminars in 7 different cities of Pakistan under the theme “Entrepreneurship as Viable Career Option”.

Virtual Uni with SMEDA conducted seminars in 7 different cities of Pakistan7 different cities included Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Bahawalpur, Jalalpur peer wala, Nankana, Sheikhupura and Sahiwal.

The seminars under theme “Entrepreneurship as Viable Career Option” aimed to connect students, innovators, and tech pioneers with the entrepreneurial community of Pakistan.

Entrepreneurs, investors, influencers, professionals and students from all over Pakistan were attended the seminars. The speaker line-up in seminars included global voices who served not only in Pakistan but also in United Kingdom, Malaysia and on other international forums. All the speakers agreed that younger entrepreneurs are the most successful. They said in seminars that you can have your own view of the world, and entrepreneurship is the best platform where you pursue that view and see the fruition of your vision. Self-employment allows you to do your own thing and pursue those areas that you feel passionate about.

SMEDA known as prime institution of the Government of Pakistan under Ministry of Industries & Production. SMEDA was established in October 1998 aim of developing Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Pakistan. 

Virtual University and SMEDA will have more collaboration in future to extend the concept for Entrepreneurship to other cities of Pakistan.
