Huawei’s CEO Ren Zhengfei said “Chinese tech giant Huawei is agree to give approval for authorization of its 5G technology to a U.S. company to produce a level playing field for competitors”.
He further added details that the authorization will include chip designs, hardware, and source code.
Huawei is still have issues with the US to imposed ban about not using Google apps officially. This issue linked with its 5G advancement. Huawei’s 5G copyrights are more than the 5G copyrights of all American companies put together. The US believes that Huawei’s 5G has a backdoor that could threaten their national security.
He said a US company is better because Huawei already has competitors like Nokia Oyj and Ericsson AB from Europe. The Chinese manufacturer will have about 600,000 5G base stations in the end of this year. Next year, the company will build 1.5 million base stations and it does not need American components to achieve that.
