The Pak-Turk International Conference on “Emerging Technologies in the field of Sciences and Engineering” was organized by Ghulam Ishaq Khan (GIK) Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology.

The ultimate aim of three-day international conference was to endow a platform to researchers, academicians and practitioners to become proverbial with latest advancements and technological developments in the diverse fields of engineering and sciences.

The conference acknowledged an ample range of papers to persuade young and experienced researchers to present own work and the possibility of initiating mutual collaboration with researchers and entrepreneurs of Pakistan and Turkey.

The well-known Turkish and Pakistani experts who spoke at the conference were Prof Dr Nihal Buyukcizmeci, Prof Dr Mahmut Böyükata, Dr Ismail H. Sarpun, Dr. Necla Cakmak, Dr Canel EKE, Prof Dr Asghar Qadir, Prof Dr Arshad Saleem Bhatti, Prof Dr Muhammad Sharif, Prof Dr Asifullah, Dr Mansoor-ur-Rehman, Dr Zohaib Iqbal and many others.

Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul, the ambassador of Turkey to Pakistan, admired the GIK Institute for organizing result-oriented research work conference.

Engr Jehangir Bashar, Rector of GIK Institute, put light on Pakistan and Turkey brotherly relations by highlighting that the interaction between the scholars and researchers of the two Muslim countries would boost mutual collaboration.

“The GIK Institute has provided an ideal platform for interaction and collaboration,” he said.
