A renowned academician and Rector Virtual University of Pakistan (VU), Dr Muhammad Abbas Chaudhry, has passed away.
There’s an irrevocable loss for the scholarly and academic communities of Pakistan as he is known as the most eminent educationists of Pakistan.
Virtual University of Pakistan grieves the sad fate of Prof Dr Muhammad Abbas Chaudhry. All staff and students expressed condolences on his sudden death and termed his demise a great loss for education sector in the country.
For the time being, Dr Tariq Banuri, Chairman HEC on behalf of the higher education sector, has extended condolences on the sad demise of Dr Abbas Chaudhry.
President Dr. Arif Alvi uttered his grief and sorrow on the sad demise of Professor Dr. Muhammad Abbas Chaudhry, Rector Virtual University. He prayed for the blessings of Allah for the departed soul and patience and restraint for the bereaved family. He also admired the services of the deceased in academia.
