Ministry of Science and Technology urged financial plan for Sci-Tech departments. National Assembly Standing Committee on Science and Technology approved Rs 3.9 billion for the next Financial Year 2019-20.
The amount approved by the committee under the Chairmanship of Member National Assembly, Sajid Mehdi, allied to Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the next Financial Year 2019-2020.
Earlier, the committee thoroughly negotiates the budgetary proposals of the ministry for the current Financial Year 2019-2020. The standing committee was apprised about the performance and working of the ministry and its fond of departments.

The budgetary meeting for science and technology was attended by the Members National Assembly including Engr. Usman Khan Tarakai, Jawad Hussain, Ch. Shoukat Ali Bhatti, Umer Aslam Khan, Farrukh Habib, Abdul Shakoor Shad,
Ms. Sobia Kamal Khan, Ch. Muhammad Ashraf, Ms. Zaib Jaffar, Ms. Samina Matloob, Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, Sikandar Ali Rahoupoto and Naveed Aamir Jeeva as well the officials of the Ministry.
Science and Technology development is a versatile process, and a number of factors must dovetail together for economic growth and progress. Sci-Tech needs to be popularized by allotting and constructing such kind of approvals.
