Science exhibition was held under the patronage of Department of Biology, Govt College for Women, Sargodha that glorify the tremendous work of students and their teachers in the realm of Science and technology and address that the young generation of Pakistan had much potential.
Deputy Director Colleges Dr Shazia Adnan, Chairperson Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sargodha Dr Kausar Raiees, and Secretary BISE Faqeer Muhammad Kaifi chaired the event.
Science fairs not only help students to develop scientific temper in students but also enable the teachers to encourage students to formulate new things. The students must also observe the exhibits of other school students and interact with them which help them find new inventions.
Science exhibitors affirmed during an address to a science model exhibition that the Pakistani youth is much more talented and was not mediocre to the children of other countries in the meadow of science and technology.
The students must not get constrained to the district level; they must try to take part in various science fairs along with their exhibits conducted at State and national level and bring name and fame to the district, exhibitors said.
Students of BSc and FSc classes took part in the exhibition; they presented their models in the exhibition and received laurels from the guests and the visitors. In the end, guests disbursed awards and certificates to the position-holders for their best performance.
Parents have to encourage their children to participate in science exhibitions. Consummate performance of the college would catch the attention of the parents to get their children enrolled in public educational institutions.
Science exhibitions provide a single platform to the aspirants to talk and explore about the many marvels of science and think about innovative ways to overcome some of the problems faced by the country.
