STAFF REPORT ISB: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan has signed the agreement with the leading telecommunication and ICT company Zong. The agreement has been done in order to mark the provisioning of wireless broadband services on laptops to students across the country which is Prime Ministers Laptop Scheme Phase-II.


The MoU was signed between the representatives of both the organizations. The HEC spokesman while commenting on the agreement said, “The basic purpose of this agreement is to provide students with uninterrupted internet services in order to continue their educational endeavors in an effective and productive manner because internet accessibility is one of the key components especially for underprivileged and rural community which if boosted can remarkably create stir in the educational sector”.
