STAFF REPORT ISB: The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has sorted out a three-day workshop on Network Monitoring Applications. The workshop planned to present the outlining, management and administration of SmartX Rack specialized subtle elements, shared best works on in regards to research systems, investigating of TEIN base issues, and also preparing members to use OF@TEIN Software Defined Networks (SDN) devices and scripts, and giving a discussion to trade of research development on programming characterized organizing.


Members of the workshop included Network Engineers, Administrators, IT Professionals, Managers and Researchers from varsities and RandD association crosswise over Pakistan and also from neighboring nations including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Korea. The workshop was sorted out under HEC project, Pakistan Education and Research (PERN) and the European-financed venture of TransEurasia Information Network (TEIN).


Dr. G Raza Bhatti, Executive Director HEC, was the chief guest in the concluding ceremony. Talking at the event, he valued the members for their dedication to finding out about new and front line advances and trusted that they will execute the same in their individual organizations. Anwar Amjad, Director General (IT) was likewise present on the event.
