NDMA unleashes 15-year plan to combat disasters

STAFF REPORT ISB: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) unleashed a 15-year plan to the partners in a conference to adapt to common debacles on the premise of National Disaster Management Plan (NDMP). The goal of the conference was to reveal the future arrangement for usage of NDMP concentrating on Multi Hazard Vulnerability Risk Assessments (MHVRA), Community Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM), Capacity Building intercessions including Emergency Responses Exercises for government authorities and volunteers, and creating awareness.
