STAFF REPORT ISB: The Agha Khan University (AKU) has been ranked as 2nd top university in Pakistan. The rankings are issued by Cybermetrics Lab, a subsidiary of Consejo Superior de Investigations Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.
More than 20,000 universities from around the globe were ranked by Cybermetrics according to which Punjab University (PU) was placed at 15th spot among South Asian universities, and 1899th position in the world. The ranking also put PU among top 10% universities of the world as per statistics.
Dr. Mujahid Kamran, Vice Chancellor PU in his statement hailed this landmark achievement of university and congratulated the faculty and the administrative staff.
National University of Science and Technology (NUST) attained 3rd rank in Pakistan.
