Staff Report ISB: Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has taken step to introduce 5 new skilled-based academic courses in the discipline agricultural sciences in order to impart imperative skills tailored to industrial requirements in students of agriculture. The new proposed courses which have been conceived to be launched soon are commercial poultry, farming, construction of poultry farm, poultry processing marketing and value addition.


Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Shahid Siddiqui said that the University would gradually switch over to online courses in order to cater maximum number of students by taking full advantage of new technology.


Incharge of the office, Zahid Majeed said that newly proposed will be launched soon. He said that VC AIOU was committed to enhance the AIOUs role in promoting skill-based education through ODL system.
