PARC sigs two MoUs with AVARDC, Chinese firm

STAFF REPORT ISB: Two MoUs have been signed between PARC and AVARDC for scientific and technical cooperation on research and development on vegetable crops in Pakistan, and PARC between Institute of Cotton Research (ICR) Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences (CAAS), P. R. China for technical cooperation and scientific collaboration in agricultural research. The aim of the first MoU is to alleviate poverty and malnutrition through the increased production and consumption of nutritious and health-promoting vegetables and through scientific and technical cooperation.

Whereas the MoU between PARC and ICR-CAAS, P. R. China aims to promote the development of high yielding and insect pest / disease resistant cotton varieties.
